A Series of Fortunate Events [II]

[This is going to be a boring entry following A Series of Fortunate Events I

And so I woke up all groggy and stumbly on my birthday itself to.. [guess what] run some errands.

Caught a powernap some time in the afternoon before heading out for dinner with the family.

The original place was too crowded so we settled for this.

My sudden craving for vietnamese rice noodles.

The night was spent at Gotham Penthouse, with the college babes and Eliot. I’ve thought enough in the private, so would be leaving out the details here. But there were alcohol. There were the flaming lambo which the gals bought me, the gorgeous hugeass bouquet they got me [long-stemmed yay!], the unexpected pressie from Eliot, the barely-there me ‘cos of all the alcohol dunked into my glass. I remember my spinning head, I remember the smses, I remember the dance and closeness with Eliot, I remember the words said to me by my friends.

There is a reason why my bouquet has a purple theme. -_-”

Oh beautiful! Look at the blue flowers! *loves* Thankies babes!

Sleep eluded me the next day. Woke up feeling lousy and was attempting to go back to sleep when DrS did the charming blackmail thingie and we met up for starbucks for a bit, then he bugged me to join him and [oh no, I've forgotten his friend's name again] in visiting PMG and Joel at PMG’s place at Sentosa Cove.

In perfect synchronization, DrS and I took out our mobile phones and snapped a shot of the place after getting out of the car. Ahem.

Oh sooooooooo cute! *melts* PMG’s doggie, Tofu, happily playing with Joelle. Wanna kidnap Tofu.

Please do not focus on the guy but the thing behind him. Woot!

All of us ended up watching tv and stoning around - methink it was because everybody was tired from clubbing/having fun at various places the night before.

A chalkboard wish from Mr Jaywalk [why no flower boo hoo] and a birthday entry from Cow didi. :) [Ok I know I'm being very random in this entry.]

Shortly after, I rushed off to Gene’s housewarming party for us uni bunch, but not before the bar gang got me to agree to meet them at St James after. -_-” Four days of drinks is not a very good idea.

Simple fast-food but a wonderful change. [See what I meant by the amazing race - eating version?]

Mirror across a wall and wallpaper across another.

We were watching Monster-In-Law when someone switched off the lights and then..

*beams* It was totally unexpected!

Then it was back to Harbourfront for St James with the same gang from the afternoon, where we amused ourselves with the sometimes-cheesy-live-music-sometimes-good-retro-pieces, and the 10 times more cheesy performances [though it somehow works there].

Enough already, argh.

Cheesy but good performance.

Watching from above - an even more cheesy performance. He was wearing an itsy bitsy teeny weeny blackish briefs. *traumatised*

It wasn’t long before we decided we had enough for the night and James [Ah! So that's his name!] drove all of us back home. O elusive sleep, how I need you!

Mmmm, steak!

Somehow, Black Angus’ steaks suit my palate and Mr Tree knows it, so he treated me to a birthday lunch there. Thankies!

I’m not a very mushroomy person but these were addictive.

Yummmyyyyy. No wait, YUMMMMMYYYYY!!

When Mr Tree first saw me, he asked “Why are you dressed like that?” to which I asked “What? What’s wrong with the way I dress??”

“You look like… an international student,” he replied.

I was in a long checked shirt, a tie, black skirt and pretty shiny shoes. -_-” Little wonder he said that.

Thank you, everyone, for making this birthday such a wonderful [and long] one! To think I didn’t have much of a plan for anything initially.

To better, happier days ahead. :)

[This entry is going to end abruptly because I am exhausted from work and can.think.no.more. Ciao!]
