How to tell when one has been facebooking too much:
Me [felt a tickle on my waist, turned to Rich suspiciously]: Did you just poke me?
Rich [innocent face]: No… *pause* Superpoke!
Me: -____-|||
On over-eating:
Biggie boss arrived from Denmark only to be shocked by the amount / way Singaporeans eat during buffets.
Biggie boss [chopsticks poised in mid-air when the plates of food kept coming]: Is there a war coming?
******
Biggie boss: We should all roll ourselves back to office later.
******
On job choices / decisions:
Convos with him is always traumatising.
Cowboy Caleb: I had a nightmare you know.. both sides [job offers] refused to take no for an answer.. kept upping the stakes.
Me: Erm. That doesn’t exactly constitutes as a nightmare.
Cowboy Caleb: Well, being unable to choose makes me very uncomfortable loh.
Cowboy Caleb [matter-of-factly]: It’s like a woman telling me I can either have the b***j*b in the bath or the b***j*b in the shower but not in both.
Cowboy Caleb: hahahwahahahaha
Me: What the!! What an analogy lah!!!

It’s been such a long time since I have involved myself in volunteer work, and watching last night’s concert made me realise just how much I miss it.
Though it was not as grand and complex as the two a nation in concerts, the show moved my heart nonetheless, on several levels, unexpectedly.
Some special mentions:
1) MINDS Taiko Drum Troupe

They opened the show with a spellbinding drumming performance [which I have seen before somewhere.. company's Dinner & Dance? ANIC?], settling everyone down for the show ahead. Halfway through the performance, one kiddo forgot his solo and his mates got naturally confused and unsure as to how to continue playing. As we, the audience, watched from our seats, the other performers became increasingly frustrated with the kiddo, with some shouting at him [to try giving him his cue] and others displaying crestfallen expressions. Somewhere about, someone started clapping encouragingly, and it was not long before the entire hall burst into loud applause for them. The show must go on, and the show did go on.

Hi Everyman and everyone!
This will be the last time [I hope], so do bear with me.
From somewhere unknown [everything was deleted in a fit of anger after a heated disagreement with Ichitaka some 800 years ago and I have no records of it],
to blogspot,

to this wordpress account last year which I have grown really fond of,

to the new one at: http://starmist.liquidblade.com/, shoutout of thanks to silly Cowboy and Uncle Mandy.
So what changes in the new place?
1) Writing style may differ a little. Considering how zen and fuss-free my life has become, there will be lesser emo posts [for now].
2) More interesting randomness, because things happening to and around me are all so varied.
3) More protected posts, since ’starm|st’ nick = easy to find me = more visibility = feels more naked and exposed. Feel free to contact me for p/w via email.
What stays the same?
1) Me! But plus qu’hier moins que demain.
2) Camwhoring photographs as usual.
3) My loves, my friends, my dog [right, like I really have one].
As usual, take me seriously when it is time to be serious, and don’t take my words for all they are when it isn’t time for it. My blog may be me, but I am not all that my blog is.
Please update your links, peeps! Arigatou gozaimasu!

Something is in the works! ;P
[But me being me, I want to ‘perfect’ it first before announcing.]
