After 4 - 5 months of neglecting Bleach, I finally spared some time to catch up on it tonight [must be all that anime talk with Lund & manga live action talk with Hina that spurred me to]. It’s great, as usual! I found myself transfixed; lost in the battles between Team Ichigo and the Fallen Espadas, smiling at the annoying but really cute Nel, laughing out loud at scenes which only anime lovers will understand and appreciate.. Now, just how many episodes have I watched in one sitting tonight?? -__-”

Random bimbotic crazy bleach-talk [I am becoming an Otaku!! *wails*]:

1) Nel is simply sooooo adorable! There were a lot of negative comments about her in crunchyroll but I like her! She seems in love with Ichigo. :)

 nel

Baby Nel so pinch-cheeks cute even when scolding Ichigo.

2) Everytime Rukia releases her Bankai [First dance, Sode No Shirayuki], I leaned forward in anticipation. Same for Byakuya’s Shikai [Scatter, Senbonzakura]. *shiver in awe* There must be some kind of Kuchiki-biasness in me. Ahem.

bleach

The aristocratic Byakuya Kuchiki releasing his powers.

3) Disturbingly enough, Ulquiorra started to grow on me, and Grimmjow too, in the latest episode. Disturbing because hello, they are the bad guys. The real bad guys who work for the ultimate bad guy. Ulquiorra’s quiet confidence and calmness reminds me of L from Death Note or Uchiha Itachi from Naruto, while Grimmjow’s hot-headedness reminds me of Vice-Captain Renji.

Looking forward to a showdown between the two Espadas. Episode 165 please, hayaku hayaku!

While I’m on a roll, I might as well resume my Naruto Shippuuden hmm?

Ever since I started the new job, there hasn’t been much time to meet up with people because of the long and odd working hours. Basically there hasn’t been much time for anything, so what I do in my 1 - 2 hours of ‘free time’ is to relax and watch dramas, like [rewatching] Nodame and some others, before sleeping.

Growing list of shows watched/to be watched:

Devil Beside You: A Mike He-Rainie Yang-Kingone Wang drama. The title popped into my head one day. Ended up completing the entire drama in 2 1/2 days! I even watched it in the mornings before heading for work. *cough* Funny and sweet drama which reminded me a little of Meteor Garden. 4 stars.

 dby

Good-looking cast, mmm. I like Kingone [not in picture]!

Why Why Love: Another Mike He-Rainie Yang-Kingone Wang combination. People were comparing it to DBY in crunchyroll so I caught it as well. Sister prefers this but it was a little too depressing for me [though their NGs got me laughing lots] and I was really not in the mood to get all weepy. “I was watching the drama series and I felt increasingly frustrated and sad how Jia Di and Huo Yan kept ‘missing’ each other because of their insecurities, other people’s malicious meddlings, events and timings. They could have something really good, yet…” commented me. 3.5 stars.

Lovely Complex, anime; Hotaru no Hikari, Japanese drama: Sister mentioned these 2 shows when we were traipsing around Japan. Will probably start on them when… I have the time.

Bull Fighting, Taiwanese drama; Love Contract, Taiwanese drama; Express Boy, Taiwanese drama: All starring Mike He.

Gyarusa, Japanese drama; Nobuta wo Produce, Japanese drama: Was surfing around and they sound good.

Honey & Clover, anime; Piano no Mori, anime [watched]: The former was recommended by several people, and I saw a trailer of the latter.

Please excuse me while I have no life for the next 10 years.

Ulquiorra is definitely the cooler one. You don’t ever see him in a foul temper like Grimmjow. Although, if I were to be a bad guy, I’d rather be Grimmjow. Taller lah.
