Disneysea Part I

disney

Sister’s compilation.

Disneysea was our stop for the 3rd day in Tokyo. I was bouncing around in excitement at the prospect of taking scary thrilling rides and being immersed in the Disney fun. Sister was much calmer though, since she has already visited 2 Disneylands and was probably just entertaining my want of a Disneyland/sea.

Our train rides took 2 hours - from Fuda station to Tokyo station, then to Maihama via the Keiyo line. -_-”

disney

The special train ticket.

disney

Yippee! Lalalala~

disney

We were wasting too much time outside.

disney

The obligatory Disneyland picture. This was as far as we went as our plan was Disneysea.

Before heading to Nihon, I gave myself 2 ‘rules’ to abide by - 1) to buy many nice clothes from Japan, and 2) NOT to buy any cutsey [pinkish] useless stuff. Needless to say, I broke the 2 rules. Terribly. Horribly. FAILED. *red blinking lights* Disneysea was one of the places which I got many stuff which I would normally not buy even have taken a second look at.

Nihon is an EVIL place, I tell ya.

disney

One of the evil shops.

disney

Tick, tock, tick, tock. Why were we still a-wasting time outside??

disney

Another evil shop. Thankfully I had sufficient willpower to resist the Dark Side of Purchasing.

disney

The first sight in Disneysea.

disney

Sister was fascinated by the sweets.

I was all ready for the rides but all we saw was this.

disney

And this.

disney

And this.

disney

And this.

disney

Where were all the rides?? O rides, rides, whereforth are thou, Rides?

disney

Finally! The harmless-looking Aquatopia ride which got sister and me all dizzy. Hur hur.

disney

The Raging Spirits ride - exciting much?

disney

360-degrees loop! Wheeee!

Next up was Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage. It was not a thrilling ride but magical and wonderful nonetheless.

disney

The start of our sea voyage.

disney

The Giant towered over everyone.

disney

Moving on, walking on. I do not know where we were at this point in time.

disney

At the same lost place. The inside was a restaurant.

disney

The queues for the rides were all crazily loooonnng. While waiting at the Magic Lamp Theatre queue, sister and I wasted no time and we planned our Disney route to conquer the rides. I wanted to go on the carousel [very Turn Left, Turn Right, you know] but it was forgotten after we finished the Magic Lamp Theatre experience. :(

disney

The crowd.

disney

One of those camwhoring pictures for the album. :P Us in our 3d effects glasses.

disney

Aladdin.

disney

Mermaid Lagoon. All the harmless-looking rides got sister and me all dizzy. -__-” We stumbled drunkenly out of the cabin after the ride. Ahem.

disney

This ride in Mysterious Island proved to be the most heart-pounding ride in Disneysea. I lurve it!! It was early evening by the time we reached ‘Journey to the Center of the Earth’ and just about everyone else was there as well.

disney

Fire and brimstone.

disney

The whole Disneyworld.

After a rushrushrush for the ‘20 000 Leagues Under the Sea’ ride, we joined the rest of the Disneyworld by the harbour to watch BraviSEAmo!, a dramatic tale of a graceful ’spirit of water’ and a powerful ’spirit of fire’ which used music, fountains and fiery effects.

disney

All was calm.

disney

The water dance began.

disney

The dragon rose from sleep.

disney

The beautiful lady arrived to calm the beast.

disney

Sparks flew.

disney

More fiery sparks.

disney

Here comes the fireworks!

disney

The fireworks were really far away. Sister suspected it was shared between Disneysea and Disneyland.

disney

Didn’t managed to take many nice fireworks shots.

Disneysea was not quite what I expected so at some point in time, I was bored [like the first vidz in the next entry], but it was an experience nevertheless! Shall try Disneyland the next time round. :)
