Pain, you just have to ride it out, hope it goes away on its own, hope the wound that caused it heals. There are no solutions, no easy answers, you just breath deep and wait for it to subside. Most of the time pain can be managed but sometimes the pain gets you where you least expect it. Hits way below the belt and doesn’t let up. Pain, you just have to fight through, because the truth is you can’t outrun it and life always makes more.

Food, Glorious Food

Melbourne has a wide variety of cuisine [though not as much as Sg of course].
The first four days of Melb life was miserable as I was down with stomach flu, throwing up whatever that can be thrown up. So just imagine how miserable it was ‘cos all dinners were fully sponsored, along with free flow of..hmm..whatever you want. And I could barely eat or drink anything.

A good friend returned from Australia and the oldies got together….
.. to plan for the next meet-up.

Relight My Fire

I decided I do not like stopover flights all that much.
It was a long-anticipated trip back to my favourite place, only it did not start off very well as my flight ticket was confirmed less than 36 hours before and horrors, it was not a direct flight.
First flight was delayed, so much for waking up at unearthly hours.
So what does one do with lots of time on hand and nowhere to go? Relax and try not to fall asleep at a cafe with a cup of coffee and a good book. Blog using the free internet service in the lounge area, which cuts off every 15 minutes. Do some foot massage thingie. Take senseless photographs.
