plus qu’hier moins que demain

We have a secret mission for our trip - to seek out JCo donuts, which are reputedly as good as Krispy Kreme.

So Sunday saw us trooping down to the shopping centre for our fix, just before we head back to Sg.

A&W! KFC! JCo! I like all three!

We thought we could check out the place, then do some shopping, and then buy the donuts before boarding the ferry. But……

… there was a queue, so kiasu Team JCo decided to join the crowd first.

Our haul from the place. I bought like, 6 boxes, but hey, only 1 box was for my family. The rest were for friends.

They don’t look too appetising, do they? But these original glazed taste even better than Krispy Kreme’s original glazed [shucks, I feel like a traitor to KK] - thin crispy outer layer, soft and fluffy inside. Yuuuuuummmm.

Ahdai decided to give the glazed a try, and he went “wah!” with an amazed look on his face upon his first bite. Hur hur.

We decided to slack in JCo joint ‘cos 1) the donuts were too heavy to lug around while we shop, 2) we were tired, and 3) we blew ALL our money on the donuts. Yikes!

After bumming at the joint for about an hour and a half, we trudged to the ferry terminal for our ride back to Sgland, and there ended our weekend escapade.
