| Would you lose your hair to give a little hope to children with cancer? Children with cancer suffer hair loss during chemotherapy in their fight against the illness. We may not understand their ordeal but we can support them in their battle against cancer. From a humble beginning in 2003 where 9 volunteers shaved bald to raise funds and awareness for these children, this number grew to 896 shavees last year, comprising men, ladies, children and toddlers. This year, Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) would like to invite you once again to join us in this meaningful cause. With every head shaven, we hope to foster greater understanding and celebrate the courage of these children. If you feel that your company/club/school is willing to participate in Hair for Hope as a satellite event (meaning that we conduct the group hair shaving session at your premises), please contact us at hfh@ccf.org.sg or 6835 6473 by 22 May 2007. |
