It’s interesting how a sharing session cum meeting at the workplace can be peppered so much innuendoes.

The OT [Occupational Therapist] was sharing about the things that OTs do.

OT: … and then there’s oral massage. Do you guys do oral massage too?
Md & Queenlady: *burst into loud uncontrollable laughter*
OT & the rest of us: *befuddled*
Queenlady [amidst laughter]: No, we don’t do oral massage here.
The rest of us: . . . . .

OT: … it depends. Like some of them cannot lift up the spoons, some of them are unable to suck, some cannot blow through straws..
Queenlady [quietly]: Hmm, suck….
Me: -____-”

DoReMiFa: I heard that the female praying mantis bites off the males’ heads while doing it. [Ed: Now how we even get to this topic during a meeting I don’t know]
Most of us: Wha-aat?!?!
Me [laughing]: Yeah, I heard of that too.. Learned about it from a show.
Shar: I wonder if the male praying mantis knows before they do it!
Queenlady: Yah, it’s like… *pretends to be female praying mantis* Do you have any last wish?
Md: Lust wish you mean.

Queenlady [passing a plate over]: Would you like to have the fish and the… white stuff [tar tar sauce]?

Child of the wilderness
Born into emptiness
Learn to be lonely
Learn to find your way in darkness
Who will be there for you
Comfort and care for you
Learn to be lonely
Learn to be your one companion

Never dreamed out in the world
There are arms to hold you
You’ve always known your heart was on its own

So laugh in your loneliness
Child of the wilderness
Learn to be lonely
Learn how to love life that is lived alone

Learn to be lonely
Life can be lived, life can be loved alone

Why am I the only one who feels that something is wrong and everything is different? I can feel it, and I can’t do anything about it.

Hope

Would you lose your hair to give a little hope to children with cancer?

Children with cancer suffer hair loss during chemotherapy in their fight against the illness. We may not understand their ordeal but we can support them in their battle against cancer. From a humble beginning in 2003 where 9 volunteers shaved bald to raise funds and awareness for these children, this number grew to 896 shavees last year, comprising men, ladies, children and toddlers.

This year, Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) would like to invite you once again to join us in this meaningful cause. With every head shaven, we hope to foster greater understanding and celebrate the courage of these children. If you feel that your company/club/school is willing to participate in Hair for Hope as a satellite event (meaning that we conduct the group hair shaving session at your premises), please contact us at hfh@ccf.org.sg or 6835 6473 by 22 May 2007.

To find out more about Hair for Hope and what it involves, please visit our FAQ section at http://www.ccf.org.sg/hfh/faq.php.

Hair for Hope will be held at Velocity@Novena Square on 1 July 2007. All interested participants can register online at www.ccf.org.sg/hfh from early May and will also be required attend a briefing session on 20 June, 7.30pm.

My Phantom of the Opera cup is cool. I like it very much.

Beside the Les Miz cup. Mask is dark and grey when not filled with water.

The back of both cups.

Mask turns white when cup is filled with hot / warm water.

With flash - in its glory.

Dreams

Read this article yesterday and thought to myself, how true what women do sometimes..

Why men should fear women’s dreams

Is it so difficult to differentiate between reality and la la land? I don’t think so.

The former is when you hurl obscenities that will make an Ah Beng blush when you are pinched. The latter happens when you are in bed and wake up only to face drool at the side of the pillow.

Well, you will be amazed. It seems that women have a hard time telling the difference between the two.

A lady friend confessed how she ignored her husband for a week when she dreamt he was having an affair.

Her rationale was that it seemed real and she could not help but feel angry and hurt even though she knows that it all happened in her subconscious.
