Consequences

When we two parted
In silence and tears,

I’m sorry, I can never apologise enough.
Half broken-hearted
To sever for years,

it may seems like I don’t care, but I do.
Pale grew thy cheek and cold,
Colder thy kiss;

I have not stopped feeling rotten,
and horrible, and responsible.
Truly that hour foretold
Sorrow to this.

I can’t bring myself to ask for forgiveness,
because even I am not able to forgive myself.

Ichi: Perhaps all I can say is that his happiness does not lie in your hands. You can’t choose where his happiness lies, only where your own will.

I don’t know, really.
