Just Like Heaven

19th May 2004 - 3.35pm, Singapore time

It was a mad rush to the airport as I was busy doing something for him and the printer just. wouldn’t. work. Fortunately, I managed check-in in time [barely] and the plane did not leave without me. *phew*

Got the window seat, much to my pleasure. Most people hate window seats cos they find it difficult and restricting - to go to the restrooms, to stretch their legs and walk about. Me? I love window seats. It is only through the windows that I can savour the vastness of Earth beneath me when the plane lift up in the air. The beauty, the glorious sight, the wonders of nature and the works of humans. And when the plane rises above the clouds, it feels just like heaven.

I’m on the top of the world, looking down on creation.

While groping for a book to write on, I took the other book by accident, the one we both shared, and read his entry, or entries rather. For some reason, I teared. I guess I missed home. And him.
